I have been selling back to eCampus and their Sister site (SellBackBooks) for a bout a month now. I've been using the direct deposit method. They direct deposit every Friday for orders received and approved in the previous week. It has been going great so far, and I plan to use them in the future. UPS shipping labels are always a big plus too. | |
| Jan 2012 | I made my order on 12/14/11 and requested 3-7 day shipping. They say that means the package will be delivered within 4 to 14 days. (then why does it say 3 to 7?) When my order still had not arrived on 1/2/12, I sent my third email to them and I was not nice or happy! First when they sent me shipping info, I was sent a link for UPS tracking. I figured out that it was a USPS tracking number instead. My order has been to within 15 miles of it's destination twice and has traveled across the USA twice. The company ignored half the emails I sent and has refused to send a replacement. I was told to contact them if my order did not arrive by today and I have with no reply. Supposedly my order is sitting in a postal sorting station 15 miles from my home and has been there since 1/2/12. Will anyone there address this? Apparently not, I have received lip service not customer service on this issue. I have three college students in my family and I will not use ecampus.com ever again. | |

| May 2011 | I saw a few negative reviews for every seller and reviewed them carefully. After selling my book to eCampus.com, I received Direct deposit to my account within about 20 days or so. They had a good price and free shipping. I will definitely use them again. | |
| Apr 2011 | eCampus is not anything to get excited about. They take their sweet time when it comes to sending out the checks. What really bugs me is the multiple checks I receive for one order. For example....lets say I send in a $30 batch of books, I won't see any money for 2 months....then I will get a $7.35 check.....then two weeks later....$11.90.....another week......$10.75 Makes it kind of a pain when it comes to keep track of orders. I do like the UPS shipping option, but for everything else.....ecampus is just average. Use another vendor if the option is there. | |
| Jan 2011 | Since I lambasted this company in the past, it seems right to report my recent, much-improved experience. The first time I sent books to them, I had to pester them via email for payment. This time I used their UPS option, which includes a tracking number, just in case I had another aggravating experience. However, no pestering emails from me were required this time. It's true that they don't send an email when your books are received, and they took 13 days after receiving my shipment to cut my check. However, I'm giving them 5 stars this time for, apparently, making an effort to improve their service. | |
| Oct 2010 | Not so great. They take the longest to pay of any I dealt with, no communication in between to confirm that they received your books, sent your payment or anything. They only pay by check which is ok but not ideal when most of their competitors use PayPal. BEWARE: their quoted prices here are ONLY if you take the payout in the form of store credit. If you want a check you get less. When I got my check, it was for the wrong amount, half what I was told I would get. Avoid these folks if you can. | |

| Jun 2010 | I sent one book to this company since the offered price was so much higher than other offers. The book was in very good condition with no highlighting or other marks. I was prepared for a disappointment based on some of the reviews here. However, I received a check for the total amount about 4 weeks after sending the book, well within the 4 to 6 week window they had promised for payment. So, a very positive experience, but I'm rating it 4 stars because they don't use PayPal. |
