	Jun 2010	Don't use this website! They quoted me a higher price for my books than other websites, which made me choose them. However, once they received my books (which were in excellent condition), they paid me less than half of what was quoted and proceeded to ignore all the emails I sent them regarding this. Their website is a scam and unless you want to get ripped off and tricked, use a different website!
	Jun 2010	Based on my 5+ dealings with Textbooksrus, I highly recommend them because: 1) Their buyback prices are usually much higher. 2) They pay quickly via Paypal, usually within 1-2 day of receiving your packages. 3) They pay for FedEx shipping regardless of buyback amount (most textbook buyers require a $50 minimum buyback) 4)They respond quickly to email inquiries.
	Jun 2010	Used to be happy with their buyback process but I have had problems with them lately with the past few transactions. They declared my books were used even though they were in never read, mint condition. And then deducted here and there for each book quote even though when I was filling out the online book quote originally, the price for most of my books were the same for New Condition and Used Condition! Also claimed I shipped a book to them that wasn't in their system and so they did not pay me for that book, which was a lie! This company will also not be receiving any more shipments from me.

	Jun 2010	I use this company regularly via the Abebooks.com interface. Good communications, fast check-in & payment. Have had very few books rejected. Only reason that I won't give it a full five-stars is because you can leave books in the buyback basket for several days (or more) but the final quoted price can fluctuate daily, which can be a bit confusing/annoying ... although this CAN work in your favor sometimes if the price goes UP a bit! Once you finalize your shipment, they do pay the quoted price upon receipt.
	Jun 2010	I did a buyback with them for two books. I got a message back saying that one of the books flashcards were all torn up. It was a blatant lie! All the flashcards were perfectly intack. First of all they didn't ask for any extra flashcards or anything. So they said because of the flashcards being torn up they were just going to throw the book away. I e-mailed them and never got an answer back. So there went 40 dollars down the drain.
	May 2010	I have sent this company several small lots of books and they have paid quickly and the full amount quoted each time. I sent them a very pricey textbook one week ago, using their FedEx shipping system, and received payment from them today, again for the full amount quoted. For me, they have been a reliable buyer and I will continue using them.

	May 2010	I had a problem with them last year when they claimed a shipment of 11 books only had one arrive. Then two weeks ago I sent another shipment that had a duplicate textbook in it and they counted it as one. They must have someone in receiving that is making a bundle on what they turn around. They will no longer receive any more shipments from me.

The remaining 1, which was in good used shape was marked as having it's binding in bad condition, so I lost $2 on that. I'm very happy with this transaction. They sent emails as the box was received and when payment was posted.

	Feb 2010	I had used this site for several years without a problem, and then I got the "no payment because the books were water-damaged" treatment mentioned in three other reviews here. My books were brand new, right out of the shrink-wrap, and were definitely not damaged in any way when I shipped them by Fedex. I asked TextbooksRus to help me file a claim with Fedex and they replied that the shipping carton was not wet or damaged! TextbooksRus is either deliberately scamming or it has an unacknowledged problem in their receiving department. Until they correct this problem and send me the $92 they owe me I will not do business with them again, and I recommend you don't either.

	Nov 2009	I have used a number of book buy back sites referred from bookscouter.com and this is one of the best. Generally they pay what they quote and are reasonable about the condition of the books they purchase. Not everyone is selling back brand new books and they seem to get that. They are also the quickest to respond with a review of your order and payment to Paypal account. Excellent company!
	Nov 2009	Generally I'm very cautious about sending stuff to companies over the Internet. I had a very large truckload of textbooks (I mean the truckload literally) that my family was trying to donate, unfortunately no one was willing to take them. We have tried the children's home, the library book stores, The Salvation Army and even Goodwill. No one seems to want textbooks nowadays and many were even new, and way too nice to just throw in the trash or be recycled. I stumbled upon bookscouter.com and started typing ISBNs. I saw that Textbooksrus was accepting a lot of books that we had that were doomed for the recycling bin if no one was willing to take them. They offered quite a bit for some of the books, and some of them were a little bit under $1. I was in a hurry to get rid of a good bunch of the books, so I mailed in two boxes of my textbooks. They received it within a week and paid for Fed Ex shipping from their own wallets. I was notified via e-mail when the books were received and paid within a day from that point. Both boxes of books were paid exactly what was quoted and they paid all PayPal fees as well. I would DEFINITELY use this company again in the future, and I'm pretty sure I will still find books lying around the house that they would take.

Although from the 20+ books I had to sell back they only quoted a few of the books and out of those only one was quoted at a decent price to be worth my while to sell it back. I placed a book buyback order on Sept 11th. I received a conf. email on the order immediately and a free shipping label for shipping via FEDEX gnd. The books were recv'd and I was issued a payment via paypall on Sept 21st. for the full price quoted on the book. Great to deal with. A+

I don't think it's a coincidence that there are other people who are saying they were told their books were damaged and textbooksrus claimed they were damaged. I get the feeling they artificially inflate their buyback quotes and I don't entirely trust the positive reviews of their buyback service because anyone can post on this website. Ask yourself if it's worth the risk of getting screwed before you do business with these guys. You'll thank me later.
	Aug 2009	I have nothing but great things to say about this outfit. They are very lenient with underlined texts, unlike many other buyback sites. They seem to understand that most used books are purchased out of necessity by students, not for preservation by collectors. They also buy many books that other sites aren't interested in buying.

	Jul 2009	This was my first experience selling books to an online book buyer. Overall, it went pretty well. The company (Textbooksrus) uses email updates very effectively. A first update was to let me know that the books I sent to them had been received. A second update was to alert me that the books had been checked in. The first check-in notice indicated that Textbooksrus was only going to buy 9 of the 11 books that I had sent. I was a bit surprised because one of the two books that were not going to be bought had the highest buyback price (nearly $50) ... and no reason was given as to why the book wasn't going to be purchased. However, another email arrived a few minutes later indicating that this book would be purchased for the full amount originally offered. The second book was a biography, for which Textbooksrus claimed that I had not sent them a CD that, ostensibly, was supposed to come with the book. However, no CD came with the book originally. I explained this error in an email reply to the second check-in email message. While no one at Textbooksrus bothered to respond, I got a check in the mail three days later for the full amount originally offered on all 11 books. So, I'm giving them 4 stars.
	Jul 2009	Awful expierences with this company. Sent 2 orders at 2 different times. The first one the said was damaged and didn't give any payment. It was only a small amount of money so I just let it go. But the secod was worth over 50.00 and again they said it was waterdamaged. I know it was not water damaged in any way not even one page of water damage. I emailed them and they sent a very generic reply. Then I asked for my book back, because I knew it wasn't damaged, and I could sell it on several other sites. Well, they don't return books that are damaged ( I find this very convienent [re suspicous] expecially when I said I would pay the shipping. Again with the generic email... we don't return damaged books. I will never use them again or ABE.com either because they are the same company.
	Jul 2009	I sold them four of my textbooks and sent them in. When I kept checking the website it just said waiting on shipment. It took almost a month for them to recieve my books and then they had the nerve to tell me that they only recieved ONE of my books! To make matters worse, it was the cheapest of the four! To this day, they claim that I never sent the books because according to them, the weight on the box didn't match my order. How can this be true when I got the label from them!

They paid for the shipping and sent me email notifications when the shipment was received, checked in etc. I was also pleased that I received the quoted prices for my books. Only be advised that if you receive payment via Paypal, Paypal will charge you a fee. I would use Textbooksrus again.

	Jun 2009	This is a great, reliable website. I sent my books in and within a week I had recieved payment via paypal. However, paypal charges a fee but it is worth the small amount so that you don't have to wait around for weeks for the check to be sent. I will use this site again.
	May 2009	Book checkin process is relatively quick, however they cherry pick their orders. I sent them all my textbooks and none of them have or had any water damage and they claim that half my buyback was waterdamaged. Communications was very lacking, as they respond with a generic message quoted from their buyback policiy. -mrf
