	May 2012	This is a very inconsistent vendor. I've been using them for three months now, sending over a dozen buybacks in. They always took everything until the last couple of weeks, where they claimed "excessive highlighting." I didn't understand, because I know I didn't highlight that much. They called me to tell me that if more than three highlighter colors are used, that's considered "excessive"...even if only on three sentences in the whole book. That seems fishy to me. I know they will make money reselling that book, considering it's in fabulous condition. Not worth the money I lost to use them again.

	Mar 2012	Tried them for the first time and experience was very good. Quote was for $13.50, paid $14.50 as one of my books was in better condition than i marked (I was being conservative) so that leads me to think they are honest. They also paid very fast by Paypal. I will use them again.

	Oct 2011	Be careful when using this vendor. They don't respond to emails, except with preformated text so they do not really read your comments or concerns. If they decide they don't want your book after they recieve it they charge you to have it returned.
	Jun 2011	I used College Books Direct, to sell a few of my old textbooks. I placed my order. I immediately shipped my books the same day, and I received payment for the full amount quoted to me, within 4 days. I am very satisfied, and I plan to use them again in the near future.
	May 2011	It is an ok site. I was selling a book new for $46 and they thought it was used. They were just looking to save money from the beginning. As for why, they claimed torn and folded pages. I honestly didn't look at the book once during the semester, so I know there weren't torn pages. I did see the very absolute edge of several pages were bent and i even straightened them out before I sent it. So, I am upset that they are now giving me the used price which $20 less, but on the upside, the used price is still better than most places and they sent out my check within 24 hours of receiving the book. My suggestion is if you are trying to sell a book back as new, go elsewhere, because you probably won't get that price anyways, even though their FAQ section makes it sound like they mark books as new all the time.

	Jan 2011	I had 5 different books and decided to sell them to 5 different vendors as an experiment. So far CBD was the best. I sent my book on a Wednesday and by the following Monday they deposited the quoted amount in my PP account.

Some of the books I said were new they considered used so I did not get all the money quoted to me (it was only $20 less). Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend this site.

I was really skeptical about how much they would pay for the book, as I've read horror stories in reviews of how people would sell books back to companies only to be told they were in poor condition and have them pay only a small amount for an expensive book. Collegebooksdirect.com was GREAT. They paid the quoted amount, paid for return shipping on the book, sent me an e-mail when they received the book back, and sent a check very quickly. I will DEFINITELY use them in the future - 5 stars to a reputable company!!!
